Casing

type casing with supporting feet and suction /discharge Nozzles integrity
cast .Centerline top discharge for effective transfer of pipe loads .
Positive Alignment
:
The
connectivity and positive alignment is ensured by full circle locating
spigots on all the mating parts. The design provides all spigots in non
wetted area and free of corrosion or erosion assuring perfect alignment
after repeated dismantling and reassembly even after long service.
Impeller :
Designed for high efficiencies and low NPSH requirement .Provided with
back vanes for hydraulic balancing and reduced pressure stuffing box and
seal.
Bearing housing :
Maximum standardization is achived by using four bearing housing for 39
sizes of pumps .
Casing heating and cooling jacket :
When handling specific liquids required to be heated or cooled at suction
/disch. nozzles ,jackets or chambers around suc/disch.nozzles can be
provided for passing stream or cold water through with a provision for
drain.
Rotating Assembly :
Easily and quickly replaceable .Standardized to
maximum extent ,therefore need to maintain minimum inventory of spares for
a fleet of pumps .
Stuffing Box :
Fitted with replaceable throat ring and designed to
adopt 4 rings of soft packing and sandwiching a lantern ring or
water seal ring .
Special Purpose Design :
CPB pumps are available in special designs for
specific duties .CPB-CL type are centerline supported pumps to care for
vertical expansion .
Besides the standard and wide range for vast
application we provide a special service by carrying out specific
modification to suit the customers requirement s such as providing
PTFE--FRE--FEP sprays coatings or lining
Materials of construction :
